The son of Neptune is so much better than the Lost Hero!! If you didnt like the Lost Hero very much than I would recommend continueing with the second book.
The new characters are so great , Frank is so kind and caring and Hazel is a bean I need to protect and obviously PERCYS BACK so thats brilliant.
This book was genius, we got to learn more about the Roman versions of the gods and how different Camp Jupiter is to Camp Half Blood, Hazel, Frank and Percys quest was so much more interesting than t ...more

I will never get tired of these books! Just like in The Lost Hero, The Son of Neptune exceeded 500 pages, but this story flew by! My favorite part of the plot was getting to hear Hazel's full story early on in the book. In the Lost Hero, I felt like I was left in the dark about the characters forever! However, in this book, I already knew Percy's story from the original series, I haven't learned everything about Frank yet but I think I've got a pretty good picture and Hazel's story was weaved in
