I utterly loved this book!. The story was so amazing and the Arthurian legend deftly woven together with aspects of US history was masterful. I actually swooned with delight at how magnificent and engaging the world was. I loved the magic system and felt the written descriptions of this magic in action were so well done that I could visualise it. I’m in awe of how amazing this book is. It’s days like this when you ponder how some new debut authors’ books are absolutely amazing vs. some og ya authors’ debut books were, back in the day.
This book is not overhyped at all. In fact, underhyped. I’m literally obsessed and I’m not kidding when I said that I was thinking about this book for days after I finished it.
Legendborn clearly has the magic of City of Bones but also something completely of it’s own. And ...more
