Breaking News:
3 out of 5 women in this book are described as "petite" and "delicate".

Not that much of a breaking news when it comes to Kiera Cass I guess.
I have so many mixed feelings with this book. The first few sentences made me want to dnf immediately, but then things began to get exciting.

And, overall, the way Eadlyn behaved wasn't such a pain in the ass (even though she isn't the most likeable character, I can appreciate it and understand why she does what she does) but most of t ...more

Yupp I'm absolutely such selection trash😂 they are not the best books ever but for some reason I love all of them dearly. They might even pop up on my list of favorite books from 2018. My reading slump went away the moment I started reading these books and my week was wonderfully full of the selection.

How most people feel towards America is how I feel about Eadlyn. I'm not hating her as much as everybody else. Yes she still frust ** This review will have some spoilers **

Yupp I'm absolutely such selection trash😂 they are not the best books ever but for some reason I love all of them dearly. They might even pop up on my list of favorite books from 2018. My reading slump went away the moment I started reading these books and my week was wonderfully full of the selection.

How most people feel towards America is how I feel about Eadlyn. I'm not hating her as much as everybody else. Yes she still frustrates and irritates me. But to be honest she's also a bit a funny. What I'm trying to say is that we're not supposed to love Eadlyn from the beginning. Eadlyn is one of those main characters that's at the beginning very shallow, selfish, arrogant (for no reason) and go on. I think Kiera Cass did this on purpose because Eadlyn herself has to grow as a person before we can like her. And at the end of the book she has already gone through some developments and I can't wait to see where she will go as a person/character.

It's also a bit weird seeing: SPOILERRR old Maxon and America. I still really like them but it's a bit weird too. And since I've gotten over the weirdness I actually like seeing them as adults.

AUNT MAY IS FABULOUS. Lol when I started reading the selection I said to a friend I want May to be our main character. Now I do love Mer (america) so much. And I'm also incredibly happy May is pretty involved in this story. Her relationship with Eadlyn is cute. We totally should gave gotten a novella from may's pov.

ALSO ALL THE MAXON AND AMERICA'S kiddos are awesome. I like Eadlyns twin Ahren the most. But Osten is hilarious. And Kadens morbide thoughts about a plague wiping his family out and that he has to be the king was funny too. Now I absolutely love him too.

And how could Eadlyn think that aggressivly eliminating 11 selection candidates was the best way to do it. I was laughing so hard at her and the terrofied looks from the selected guys were hilarious too.

** SPOILERS FOR THIS AND FIFTH SELECTION BOOK **
I want her to be with Kile but I know it won't be him. Sad me. The guy who is gonna end up with her I don't really know yet. Okay I got to know that guy a bit more and I'm all here for it. Still love Kile too but they would probably better of as friends.

ALSO HENRI IS BAE. He is such a cute cinnamon roll.

NEVER IN MY LIFE DID I EXPECTED TO READ THIS IN A BOOK😂😂 lol this 4th selection book is pretty ridiculous compared to the previous three. LIKE ONE OF THE SELECTION GUYS LITERALLY HULA HOOPED. Julian hula hooped😂😂 I'm seriously cracking up about this. Some of the selected guys made a show for the princess😂😂 And one FUCKING HULA HOOPED😂😂😂😂 Why julian?😂 The show itself was actually kind of nice though. It's still ridiculous but that was actually the point. Not even a chapter later something heartbreaking happend and I'm still dying about the hula hooping😂😂 Trust me the whole show thing actually made some sense if you read it😂😂 and they were on purpose mocking themself because the candidates were being a bit needy and childish but the hula hooping😂 A book hasn't made me laugh like this in quite a while.

Now I'm absolutely dying to read the last one and let's hope we won't see anymore of Julian's hula hooping😂😂 ...more

Okay, I know this review is super late but hear me out... actually, I have no excuse so let's get into this, shall we?

I knew what I was expecting when I signed up to read this book, trashy romance with a giant helping of addictiveness. And I got exactly what I wanted. I have to say, for the fourth book in this series, and the second part of it??? I was actually impressed that I didn't die at all while reading it. For some reason I have this thing about spinoff series...except for Percy Jackson, I really just can't stand them, and I guess it's probably because the Heroes of Olympus series still focuses around the main characters, instead of introducing new ones.

Reading The Heir was like reading The Selection for me. As with the first of the series and my emotions to America Singer, I just couldn't get into Eadlyn's character. There seemed to be too many plot holes, and I really just can't see any of it as ...more
