Excuse me while I fangirl a little bit but this book was everything I was looking for in a murder mystery!
With its well-written characterisation, tangled webs of lies, intriguing murder mystery and school project-esque vibes, it was not difficult for me to quickly fall head-over-heels in love with A Good Girl's Guide To Murder.

I was very much sucked into the hype for this book, which influenced my decision to pick it up and give it a read. I love murder mysteries and the premise for this one sounded fab, and boy did it deliver!
This was so so brilliantly written and fantastically paced. It’s so immersive and very hard to put down once you get started. It had all the hallmarks of a fantastic murder mystery and whodunnit, and even though you were taken on a ride solving the mystery alongside Pip (the main character), yo ...more

Another 5 stars!!! I am so excited to be on such a binge read and also, to give another amazing book 5 stars.
Wowwww, this book was such a ride? I for real, did not even put it down. What work? Who needs food and water? What I needed to know was, who killed Andie Bell? Boy, was I in for a ride. It was mysterious and every time I thought I had the answer, I was proven wrong. Right up until the end. I really had no clue whatsoever and I think this points to the fact that it was a really good murder ...more

All I have to say is, I pre-ordered the sequel the minute I finished this! The book was everything I hoped it would be and more. Great plot, great twists, great suspense, great characters.. I loved it. It was darker than I anticipated, which I really liked since YA thrillers tend to sugar-coat heavy topics or walk around intense situations. This book portrayed the hurt, confusion, stubborness and selfish motives of real life which made me feel connected and invested. Loved, loved, loved it!

I SWEAR I had written a review for this one (especially since I read book 2 and that one has a review), but alas. Here we are. Given that I strongly feel like I’ve done this before coupled with the fact that it was a five star read, this review is going to be short and sweet. A very enjoyable mystery/who done it with lots of twists to keep you interested along the way. Pippa sometimes got on my nerves for not getting parental help for things like (spoiler) her dog missing, etc. but overall, a de
