What a great end to the trilogy! I absolutely loved reading these books and they became the ultimate teenage trashy romancey guilt read and I loved them!!
The book had me on the edge of my seat with all the twists and turns and I felt so invested in the book, I just wanted it all to turn out as I hoped!! Things happened that I didn’t foresee and it was great to the very end. Glad I followed the many recommendations to read this book

Rating: 🌟🌟🌟 (3/5 stars).
SO MANY FEELINGS. Like this whole series has been so far one hell of a rollercoaster full of emotions. To be honest I never expected to really really like this trilogy that's not a trilogy anymore. I was so ready to hate on everything but then I ended up liking it soo much. That was a bit ...more

I have no idea what to say about The One by Kiera Cass. All that I can say is that I was really not expecting what I was reading and not in the good way.
Basically, The One picks off from where The Elite left off where only four girls remain and continue trying to win the heart of Prince Maxon. The pressure is on for America Singer to not cause trouble within the castes (basically the castes are the way the society is structured in the country of Illèa going from 1-8. 1 being where royalty are a ...more

I'm happy to say this review will be a bit more positive than those for the previous books in the series. First let's get rid of the bad things. There is no way around it, so I'm sorry but, I HATE America! She is a terrible person and a spoiled little brat who won't share her toys even when she's not playing with it (which is funny considering the constant reminder that she is from a lower caste). I think the only people I genuinely liked in the series were Queen Amberly, Marlee and Ame ...more

I am writing this review at 2 am and I'm so grateful to Amanda Westphal and the Instagram feminist community for pushing me to read the books that followed The Selection. Of the original Selection trilogy, this book was by far my favorite.
The turning point in the game happens when America sees Celeste crying in the library. From then, the Elite become close, despite never being able to imagine anything like that happening up until that point.
After that, all the plot twists about the girls' lif ...more
