I wasn't sure about the format - a book written like a magazine interview? For hundreds of pages. But it absolutely works, and pulled me in just like a normal fictional narrative. It even choked me up several times, especially Billy's insights and growth as a married man. Just fabulous. Very worthwhile reading.

This book is a lighthearted ‘pick-me-up’, perfect for when you feel the need for a little escapsim.
At first I found it hard to get into, with the interview style of the narrative and lots of different people commenting back and forth on different periods and situations from their past.
