I'm not a massive Tijan fan but what drew me to this one was the book cover and then I read the blurb. I love that book cover. It says a lot.
Yes, the FC is as irritating as hell, a bit of a "woe is me" character and I rolled my eyes at so much drama and so much loss BUT for me what saved her and the story was Stone. He was a solid character, came through when she needed him (and even when she didn't).

Great read I think I held much higher expectations for the plot due to the description but it was a very steady read. I enjoyed it, now I find myself in a book funk so I’ll have to see what else I can read that will spark up my reading mind, I really thought this book would do it let’s hope the next read does.
