This book was just such a great ride. Some Daddy/little girl, some menage, some bondage, some primal...and all of it landing up as one big tangled intense love story with four people who won my heart and my undivided attention. If you're the type of person who reads a book to enjoy the journey and watch the emotions build, the relationships grow and unfold (rather than just rushing to the end), then savor this one. ...more

While I have read other books by Ms Douglas and really enjoyed them, this one not so much.
There were many people that read it and gave it 5 stars, I am being grateful by giving it 2.5 stars.
I was unable to connect with the heroine and definitely could not connect with any of the male characters. The beginning gave me hope that it was going to be a good read but as the story progressed it became a bit far fetched.

Love Lust Need

Where do I start? Seriously my subconscious found some of what played out just wrong, because no way would you do or tolerate this in real life right?

But then after stopping and walking away I had to come back, I craved what was in those pages. I needed to know. And that’s the beautiful reality of reading no matter the story or the genre. It’s words. Some darker than others, some sweet but all give us something to think about.

It was my second book by Penelope Douglas and she cert

This is the second book I've read by the same author. I've read Birthday Girl which I enjoyed so much that I have it on my Kindle app on my phone and a physical copy. I did the same for Credence so I can read it during slow time at work. ...more

⭐️3.4⭐️ Very difficult book to rate. It is well written, and also taboo as all heck. I just don’t know what I’m feeling right now. It wasn’t necessarily the sheer “messed upedness” that this family engaged in that’s the problem... but more, the romance was just so great without it. I feel like it was just a gratuitous story line that could have worked just as well without the entanglements. The themes of abandonment, loneliness and neglect were clear without the reverse harem situation. I would ...more

3 1/2 stars*** I liked it! LOVED THE SEXINESS! Love the scenery! My problem... I couldn't connect with the characters. The heroine was so ignorant on many things but I just couldn't grasp that she was that naive. The hero/heroes are all super alpha and possessive so much so that I thought no way they would stand for that, well maybe one of them would...I rooted for HAE and enjoyed the epilogue. ...more

what a great book

What a good book. This broken family finds love in the girl who’s family. Tiernan is a lost girl at 17 who lost her mom and dad to death. The thing is she was never loved by them. She was just a thing they had but didn’t know how to care for her. She was ship to her uncle and cousins to live till she’s 18. The fact is she looks for love in others but when she finds it in someone who is silent she gets pulled into living like she did until they pushed her out of her comfort zone

Read for #URRBingo2021

I...dont know what to say about this book. Look, I read all sorts of taboo stuff and this was tame in comparison. So it wasnt the taboo (pfft), it's the writing and the characters which had me reading this is one sitting.

I dont generally do bully romances and while Kaleb isnt a bully hero ,but he is a very difficult character to root for at times but damnit, I still wanted to keep on reading and I wanted him and Teirnan to work out.

I would have prefered a solid continuing

This book is so not for me.

It starts out being somewhat of a Why Choose but then goes in this even weirder direction of her ending up with the guy who basically SA’s her multiple times.

I feel like between this book and Haunting Adeline I’m not in on this weird inside joke on BookTok.
