This book is awsome! Not what I expected at first but loved it by the end. My Aunt suggested that I read the book and with her taste I thought that it would be very sci-fi but it turned out completley different. The love that Clare and Henry have, across time is so profound. I felt that it was much more of a friendship and soul mate love than a lust love. Dont get me wrong, these two were destined to be together across time/space/life but they were so connected by their souls and whole life expe

I found this to be a very interesting book. The whole concept of time traveling really made me stop and think; if I could go into the future, would I want to? Would I want to go to the past? If I did, what would I tell my past self? Another thing I really liked about this book were the characters. I can't remember the last time I read a book in which the characters seemed so real. No, they weren't perfect and weren't always likable, yet I liked them and really felt like I knew them. Henry and Cl

This was an incredibly interesting read. Poignant and tender and extremely thought-provoking. It alternates between simplistic journal-like narrative, with a very staccato feel, and rich thoughtful dialogue. Its not always a comfortable read, but I literally couldn't put it down until I was finished. The ending left me wanting more, but knowing that there really was no more to tell.

Really loved this story. It's a fascinating tale about a man that travels through time due to a chronological disease. He's always thrown from one time to another, and it's hard for him to live in the present.
I think that this book is a good reminder to live in the here and now, and enjoy the time that you DO have with those you love, because you just never know. I love books that make me remember important lessons like this. Loved it! ...more

I couldn't put this book down. At first it was difficult to understand because the characters are in different times at the same time, but once I understood, it was easy. It's also great if you're from Chicago as the story takes place there and mentions different real places in Chicago (i.e. Lincoln Ave., Zeypher restaurant on the north side, etc.

This book was very confusing at first since it's going back & forth in time but I actually enjoyed the journey. The main characters Clare & Henry were very likable. It's really a great love story that shows that there is a lot of patience & time for all relationships.
