I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and really liked the two main characters. I was glad that Ronan Fitzpatrick wasn't the quintessential bad boy that he first appeared to be. I loved that he was the designated driver for his teammates and that they called him "Mother Fitzpatrick" due to his protective manner. Annie was great too, and I really like the two of them together. This book was fun and had some very sweet and tender moments.

This collaboration between L.H. Cosway and Penny Reid really hit the spot with me! Ronan (the hooker) is a rugby player from Ireland who is in New York looking to rehab his image after an altercation with a teammate and Annie (the hermit) is media image consultant/anonymous blogger. I loved both characters, the plot was entertaining, and the writing style was smooth and easy to read. Annie reminded me of Kaitlyn Parker, from Penny Reid's Attraction - smart, quirky, socially ill-at-ease ...more

A first for me by both authors, and boy what a lovely surprise.
I will admit that I didn't know what a hooker was, but I knew right away it didn't refer to Annie. I had to go online before reading to find out which sport had a position with the name. I didn't read anything about this book except the title before starting it. I just thought that the title itself was kinda quirky, so in that case I would give the book a try.
So exceptionally glad I did!!!
