Another great addition to J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood vampire series! There’s always multiple storylines going on within each novel. This one gears more towards Wrath, Beth and his need to remain king and her wish to have a child. There is always loads of drama. And, of course, the reader gets a glimpse of the Brothers and their shellans. There are certain books you read and they are good even great. When I read a series and the books continue to intrigue me and uncover new parts of characters I previously knew I would say those books are epic. This book was epic it amazes me how award continues to move this story on and I am so grateful she does
I have had a number of WTF and lot of laugh out loud moments reading this book.
Like everyone who is hooked on the Vampire brothers I was so looking forward to this one. Yes I did have issues with the narrative at times and the storyline (as normal) was all over the place.
BUT……. her writing is exceptional, erotic and addictive and several times I became frustrated with the way she wove in and out of characters - simply because I wanted to get to that pivotal point - what was going to happen to Be ...more
