I really loved this book! I love all KA's work. Her books are highly addictive, and my own guilty pleasure. That being said....Sweet Dreams is a work of art and one of my favorite KA books.
Lauren wasted some of her best years on a no good, lying, cheating man who traded her in for a younger slimmer model. Now, she's free and drifting. I keep thinking the writing leaves a lot to be desired and how superfluous it can be while I'm reading it, but then at the end of the day I say "I simply liked this story" when the other perfectly coiffed literary pearls I have read (plot, characters and prose) have been long forgotten. :)
Again, Ms Ashley writes long winded, and her female "heroines" are questionable, not particularly my taste but she writes great tension. Not an author for people who are in a hurry. :)
