Slow burn romance that worked for Aiden and Vanessa, trying to make it anything else would not have worked. Aiden is our leading man and he is different from other male leads. His lack of words, emotion had me wondering at first. I could totally relate to him. He doesn't like people overly much. His focus is football, to be the best.

Even though I've read and read and read it again, I never get bored. Somehow, even though Aiden isn't the most communicative guy on Earth, he's so endearing and got under my skin.
