I loved this.
Admittedly, it took me a couple of chapters to get into it, at first the writing seems a bit choppy and a cpl of times I had to go back a page or two to remind myself of a question a character had asked.
However, once it settles and who was who, what connected them and the history of the characters made itself known, it just flowed and I started to really enjoy it.

This wasn't your typical MC book, but I really liked it. Dex has anger issues, which is the reason he's an ex-con. But when his fellow MC brother, Sonny asks him to give his half sister, Iris, a job as his receptionist, he doesn't give her the warmest welcome.
Iris has had some hard breaks growing up. Her father, also Sonny's father walked out on her and her family when she was ten. Her mother died when she was a teenager and her grandmother who took over raising her and younger broth ...more

If you are looking for a low angst motorcycle club romance, this is a good choice. I actually like that aspect of the book with a club that has gone clean so it is mainly the drama between the leads that drives the story but there is outside drama caused by the heroines father as well.
The hero is a jerk at times in that he needs and anger management class but the heroine while much more passive in general puts him in his place.

I am now a fan of Mariana Zapata. This book was pretty awesome, a bit repetitive at times, but still overall fantastic.
Of course it is a MC romance, which I as starting to love. We have Iris, who had to go stay with her elder brother due to financial reasons, and Dex, who owns the tattoo shop that Iris's brother helps her get a job at. Both Dex and Iris's brother Sonny are in the MC.
Anyway, Dex is a complete ass to Iris in the beginning, so Iris is on the hunt for another job.
