Amazing. I immediately put this on my favorites pile. Love how this author tells a story. I'm going to read another of hers and just double, triple check, but I think she is definitely the real deal.
I'm not a huge fan of Mafioso books .. because most aren't gritty enough nor do they portray these people as .. real people. This one is different. Loved everything about it.

This book walked so that the many many others since could run. I kept putting this book off after reading the first chapter many many over the past few years times coz I had a feeling i was really really going to like it and thus,I was hoarding it.. I was correct. I loved it!
The writing was good, the characterization was just enough fantasy sprinkled with mafia terms to keep us in universe without going all dark and gritty borderline assault-y, like nowadays mafia books tend to do.

Great story
Nico and Elana were not fans of one another. Just lusted for each other. Since Nick was to marry Elena's sister instead they played with fire of filtering with each other, but when things change they try to become close. It wasn't easy since there are some secrets hiding. Loved it. ...more

I’ve gone backwards with this series. I read the very angtsy yet spectacular The Maddest Obsession first and got hooked. And even this was a milder version of obsessive passionate love it was amazing. Can’t wait to read more!
⭐️6⭐️ Though, I don’t love the mafia romance genre, I am not averse to it. So far the ones I have read have been decent and enjoyable, but I wouldn’t say I loved them, which I attributed to the genre. But holy hell, that all changed with this one!!! I was consumed by the story of Nico and Elena, and pulled an all nighter to finish.
I loved it!! From Nico to Elena, to all cousins, even the all the famiglia. great characters, drama and HAE
