Katy Evans has never done me wrong. And I'll be honest, I thought that gravy train was going to end with Tycoon, which made me immensely sad, BUT this book turned out to be so much more than what I first anticipated and I am so glad I pushed through because this book turned into a fave of mine.

Now, let me explain just why I thought this wasn't going to be a fit for me: the cadence was just off. Aaric and Bryn's first time "on scene" felt like I was missing part of the book. But that's the point ...more

Shelves: romance-contemp

I have enjoyed the Real books quite a bit but this one just did nothing for me. It annoyed me, the hero and heroine's personalities annoyed me, the OW (she is basically the OW to begin with) drama, the OW spoiler spoiler drama... the meredith grey moment... just no.
