Great addition to the Cold Fury family. Never met Roman before he was an in your face character. He's an enforcer on the ice, and doesn't apologize for all his fights. Lexi has come to town after finding out Brian Bannon is her father and Gray her sister. Lexi and Roman's relationship builds and isn't without some bumps in the road, but in the end love conquers all.

This one comes out in February 2017. I'm trying to remember all the various H's in this series. I think Roman is one of my favorites. The bit of backstory we get on him is interesting and I like how he is surprised at his responses and reactions to Lexi. I really liked Lexi. I seem to have a thing for a quirky girl in a story, if done right. I think our author starts these two off well.

Roman Sykora has a reputation as an enforcer for Cold Fury Hockey team, he also has a reputation of being a bad boy and finding trouble outside of the rink. His boss has had enough, she makes a threat either ship up or ship out. Roman finds himself distracted though when he meets Lexi Robertson. He doesn't know what Lexi was doing at the Cold Fury office, but he is definitely intrigued by the little rebel.

I didn't think this series could get any better, then it did! But then the author of this amazingly fun series is Sawyer Bennett, enough said.
I've been with the Carolina Fury from the first moment Alex Crossman burst into the reading world with skates flying and ice spraying. I expected each installment to be as good as or better than the last and I haven't been disappointed once.
Sawyer Bennett gives her characters real voices. Real lives that we as readers can easily identify with.

Part of the Cold Fury Hockey series, however can be read as a stand-alone. I liked Roman, the lovable bad boy. Roman and Lexi have great chemistry together and the story held my interest throughout. I really liked it.
