I was hesitant to read this book because of the "teacher/student" dynamic, which is a big no-no in my book. Once I started reading "Eighteen" the relationship between Shannon and Mateo was explained and because of their situation, it felt less taboo to me. I was really glad that I was able to read the book because it was incredibly intense! There was so much going on and so many twists and turns I felt like I had whiplash. I kept going back and forth with Mateo - good guy or bad guy? In one chap ...more

Great read

I loved this book. I highly recommend it. It felt like I was in the story with the characters. Yay for Shannon!
