Pepper Winters has messed with my mind in the most delicious way possible. Tears of Tess has redefined dark erotica for me. This was one hellish journey. I seriously had to reread pages twice to ensure I read what was written correctly. I mean, WOW.
I love Tess’ fight. Her determination. The power she has but doesn’t know.
I loathed Q. He is an asshat. That man makes me crazy. I literally had pure hate for him at the beginning of this book. ...more

Held my breath
Didn't even realize I had been holding my breath through the last chapter! This is one of those books that everyone raves about that you're almost afraid to read it for fear it won't live up to the hype! I delayed reading this book for months because of that very fear. I am so happy I read it and can honestly recommend it to my friends and followers. Excellent book, amazing characters. I can't wait to read the rest of the series! ...more

i swung between being intrigued and eye rollingly bored reading this much as the character of Tess swung between a myriad of emotional states every few seconds. A confusing read about some confronting topics. I don't think i would read the next book.
