What to say about this book...

In the beginning I really enjoyed it, I liked the dark content, but somewhere around the middle it started to fall flat. I was encouraged that it would get better, and at some point I did start to enjoy it again.. Then all I wanted was for it to end, and there were several places that it could have done so. It really started to feel like the neverending story at times.

I went into this hoping I was going to get something different from the run of the norm of the usual kidnapping/sexual themes. There are so many of them now that when I read this theme I truly hopes I am going to get something a different instead of the overload of what has become a predictable read/outcome.

Again, I struggled with this book and it was hard work getting to the end.

Tess made me grit my teeth. I wasn't a fan of her character and I thought she was too predictable.

And Q was a damaged man that finally found an outlet for his Dark & Twisted needs..

Held my breath

Didn't even realize I had been holding my breath through the last chapter! This is one of those books that everyone raves about that you're almost afraid to read it for fear it won't live up to the hype! I delayed reading this book for months because of that very fear. I am so happy I read it and can honestly recommend it to my friends and followers. Excellent book, amazing characters. I can't wait to read the rest of the series! ...more
