Such a fantastic read. I've read a lot of Sanderson's other works but this was by far the best, most completely engrossing of his works to date.

This was such a detailed book. Most of the other reviews have it right when they write that a lot of this book was purely world building. But what a world it is! The Highstorms, the shardplates, the soulcasting and the history (and much more) make the world feel like its own character.

This is my third reread of this book and each time I love it more than the last since I can pick up on connections throughout later books. There's a feeling I get after reading an amazing epic fantasy that is unlike anything else.
