This first book was a great read from the get go. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but without giving out spoilers there reached a point in this first book where I hit a bit of a readers block. I had to push through it. It may have just been me and not the book but I am glad I pushed through and finished. This book is definitely recommend for those that like Fantasy and I can't wait to read the rest of this series. :) ...more

A great first entry to the series. It's not the strongest entry, but it's very enjoyable to get into.

I really liked the characters and overall gist of the story, but had my share of criticisms. I thought I’d split my thoughts up into the positives and the negatives.
