A great book about the loss of memory and how people who suffer from it can slowly learn about their past and what really happened before and after the tragic event that made them not being able to recall the recent events of their lives.
I liked this book a lot, but I just have to say it: when I was in the middle or so, I kind of knew what the ending was going to be like. I mean, the plot twist wasn't really a plot twist for me because I predicted who was who and why. I can't say more because I ...more

Before I go to sleep is the story of someone with an unusual disability. She forgets everything every time she goes to sleep. How do you cope with that. That's precisely what the book is about. It is a captivating storyline superbly written and kept taut throughout. The suspense is built through every day occurrences and the reader is in a perennial state of curious wonderment, in sync with Christine. I really enjoyed the first few chapters of this book but in all fairness its very repetative and that drove me mad, the ending was no big suprise I had figured it out long before then but I still think it could have had such a better ending, been honest I was a bit disappointed x
