Perfect Chemistry (Perfect Chemistry, #1) by Simone Elkeles

it was the stupidest book! i just it was disgusting and soo not romantic and the teens in it were acting like twice their age.

tsk-tsk

my friends thought it was a good book but i cudnt get past the 50th page. I hated both the characters and the week storyline.

All the main guy said about the girl was that she was white and hot. And the girl thought the guy was hot.
ohhh soo romantic. NOT
>:(

very unhappy with this book and im glad i didnt finish it.

Matched (Matched, #1) by Ally Condie

ok THIS book like SUCKS!
i did NOT like the female lead. she was so mean and stupid and annoying to read about. SO its a love triangle with her best friend Xander and this guys Ky. Its a dystopian novel. So like the governemnt or sumthing, chooses who that kids are going to get married to. So the main girl (dunno her name) gets her best friend Xander. So when she's at home, theres this chip with information about her would-be-Xander. So she opens the digital chip, and like theres a glitch. First the screen flashes with Ky's details, THEN Xander's details come on the screen.
NOW our main character is so intrigued by this and TOTALLY ignores and disregards the fact that Xander's face was ALSO displayed on the screen and starts to love Ky.

Really, even be4 all this, i had to force myself to read and finish it. It was a decent enuf book, but it just wsnt for me. I finished this book but i didnt continue the series. Really i wanted to throttle the girl. I just didnt like her.

But hey! ppl have liked this series, i just didnt.

message 21: by Anirudh (new)

Anirudh Well I felt it was more for kids and teenages than adults.. And too good vs evil. I didn't find it interesting. And wand wielding wizards didn't appeal to me..

Sasha Ivashkov-Herondale-Jackson (aka Clarisse) (sasha101) | 18 comments well yes, the target audience is for the young adult audience....

BUT many adults like it too!
but thats okay. evry1 has thier own opinion

Yeah well....you need to read HP when you're a kid or a teenager, if you wanna enjoy it fully. I don't know myself....but I guess once you're an adult and you read it, it all seems too kiddish. So I understand why you didn't like it....For me, wand-weilding and wizards and stuff....it really fascinates me!!

Yes they do. But it was really not for me..

message 25: by Anirudh (new)

Anirudh @Ruchi, I read it in high school.. But still didn't like it. Actually fantasy is my favourite genre but wands and wizards didn't interest me. They are powerful people but can't do much without their wands. I never got that :)

I think it's way to overrated. I read it and I kept wondering what was the big deal about it.

message 30: by Dimitrios (new)

Dimitrios Chytiris (dimis) | 29 comments Well personally the only book I disliked ( I never hated a book so far) is Interview with the Vampire. I found it extremely boring... I had to make my self keep on reading and I am sorry to say I did not finish it, its the only book I quit reading ever.

I think you refer to what the ghost were eating. Since they were, well ghosts, they were unable to eat and so they could only pass through the food to lets say take a little bit of taste, so the idea was that rotten food would have a stronger taste. I dont think you should let osmething like that (from the second book) mess up with a fairly nice book series. There are 4 more books that are far more amazing than book one and two combined.
