I missed this book when originally buying the Harry Potter series as they were light and I thought that they would mostly be covered in the movies so I started with the Goblet of Fire. My but still after so many years .. Harry Potter's magic remains .. and even though I am 30, I am able to enjoy his adventures like I am 10. Wonderful series by J. K. Rowling... Truly Magical .. now on to the second part... Happy Reading friends.

I must be the last person on the face of this planet to have discovered the magic of Harry potter books. It all started a few months back when a pesky teen asked me if i liked Potter books .Having half-halfheartedly read a few pages almost a decade ago and seen the odd movie,I told her that i didn't. I am starting to see what all the fuss over Harry Potter is about. After years of my friends telling me to read the books I finally ran out of books that I wanted to read immediately. Suddenly I had no books on the go and my friend bought me the philosopher's stone for Christmas. The book was a very light and entertaining read. Great for lovers of fantasy. I definitely plan on reading the entire series and then buying and watching all the movies

I never got into this series when I was a kid like everyone else in my generation (and the whole world) did. Now after being grown and tending to analyze books more critically, I think it's partly a shame I didn't get to enjoy this series as a kid and grown up with it and also partly a shame that the hype around it has been as big as it is.

This is my second reading of this book and I like it as much as the first time reading it, even more I think. For the past 10 years, I've always enjoyed reading the adventures of Harry Potter at Hogwarts. And to be honest, I'm sort of sad to see then end of this series. Thihs is one of my favorite series of all time.
