I'm not even sure how I feel about this book. I definitely saw the movie before I read the book for this one. I think I wanted to like the characters but I didn't quite get there. I don't know if it's the book or the pacing that made this so slow with me that I found myself skimming some pages.
Primarily I feel like it tried to touch upon many different topics that it seemed too scattered for such a short book. I didn't like how Sam or Pat was treated but I definitely get that it's ...more
