It was the synopsis that drew my attention as it sounded like a novel that I would really enjoy. It is different to my usual read, but I do enjoy reading something different now and again. I must admit to putting this novel to one side after reading several pages, as I thought I had made a mistake to have chosen this novel. I don't know what made me start giving this novel another try, but glad I did. It was so much better than I had expected.

The story begins with Sister Benedictine's suicide leaving a group of monks on a trail in Spain. Siobhan watches the story on the television to realize that it was her mother who went missing six years ago.
