This book was amazing. I see why it was made into a movie. I really love that the characters can be loved moment by moment through out the book.

Pros: Secondary Characters were mildly interesting, I love the use of Photography in the book that showcases the images that we're being told about in the book and the overall premise was very original and creative.

This book wasn't what I was expecting. I thought it was going to be about some kids at an orphanage getting up to some shenanigans in the early 20th century. And I guess it sort of is, but there's a whole lot more going on than that. The narrative is so fun and exciting and using the old photos to make a story is such a cool idea. I'm already well into the second book. It's a perfect series to read in October!
