What Members Thought
I enjoyed the book even though it was a hard start.
I wasn't sure about this book.I actually got this for my oldest daughter but decided to try it. I was pleasently surprised. It reminded me of a cross between twilight and Harry Potter. It was a little slow going at first but once into it I couldn't put it down. I am looking forward to reading the next in the series. I thought the characters were a little under developed at first but I feel like the book hit it's stride about half way through

So I watched the movie first because I could not seem to get into the book, once I saw what it was about I followed the book much better. I read this in a day & am now starting on the second one :) ...more

Really enjoyed this book The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because I guessed the end quite quickly, also in a few places I found it a bit slow going. Saying that, I've had it on my mind all night and am very intrigued to find out how certain relationships will evolve. I will be reading the next one.
