Flavorless prose.
WOW! The whole time I was reading the book, it felt like going through all the Twilight Zone series [again]. Actually it gets weirder as you go deeper into the book.
Oh well, what do you expect anyway from the creator of The Sandman series.? :)

A great story, I'm kind of torn about who to recommend it for. The Greeks, Romans, Incas all have their own gods. Why can't we? The premise of the book is the role an ordinary human, seemingly un-godly, is thrust into a role in defining the ultimate battle.
