What Members Thought
So I also went through the high and lows with the characters and lived and died with the words of the houses on my lips. Yes I am living in the Westeros and and the Free Cities and the world of the Song of Ice and Fire.
This part deals mostly with the pain of the Stark family as they fight to survive apart from each other and the fight of the kings where in we have 4 kings in the land now. King Joffery, King Stannis, King Renly and King Robb stark.

Clash of Kings is an excellent continuation of the Song of Ice and Fire fantasy series. If you enjoyed the first book, or watch the TV series, I recommend reading it.
That being said, I did enjoy this book, however I wasn't obsessed with it like I usually am while reading good epic fantasy novels. This may be because I watch the TV series and know what will happen (in most cases). I find if I watch the TV show or movie etc before reading the book, sometimes the book just doesn't keep my attention ...more

I think, 4 stars will give justice as my rating; not a perfect one but definitely a fantastic series I ever read.
The plot of betrayal, deceit, victory and honor continues to this book, while everyone has the taking for the crown claiming the seat on the iron throne.
Again, characters you love are being killed that's why better not to dwell on them. GRRM does it again! sustaining the suspense, fantasy and thrill, he does it all to make you stick reading to the end. I will no longer discuss how th ...more
