So finally I was able to finish this mammoth Beast of a book .. I guess this is the largest book I have ever read so far. What to say ...
Chester's Mill a small town in Maine and all of a sudden a Dome covers the entire town and just like that the entire town is cut off from the rest of the world. The story starts with the day the dome comes down and follows the lives of a very large cast of characters till the crisis gets over if it gets over.

An excellent introduction into the world of Stephan King. This was my first Stephan King book (I know I should really have read others by now but life is busy) and I was very impressed. Despite being initially put off at the prospect of reading a thousand plus page book I stuck with it to the end and was not disappointed. Interesting read. It begins as a breathless page turner and then slows down a bit, but takes a turn towards the end which left me profoundly sad, but also still feeling hopeful!
