“She only came back when she felt like it, anyway, in dreams and lies and broken-down déjà vu.”

The characters in this book are bizarre, and accurately described:
Eleanor: half Scottish, half Danish, crazy red curled hair, fat, freckled skin, green eyes, weird style.
Park: half Korean and very much look like a Korean, dark black hair, wears black shirts most of the time, not fat and as tall as Eleanor, yellow skin, green eyes, wears eyeliner to look dark- "Stupid Asian kid." "Stupid, perfect Asian ...more

What a brilliant book, I've just finished however and my heart hurts...... X

There have been many reviews on this book, most loved it and the few that didn't had quite a lot to say. (It had even been banned in some schools and caused so much trouble) I am not going in to all of that, i simply loved it.

Recommended by my bestie, this book was on my to-read list since it was launched, not sure why was so neglected by me so far. Nice and light read. It feels like a breeze, like falling in love again, holding hands and feeling it in your entire body, like holding on to a soft teddy-bear! Finishing the book felt like 'Oh don't take away my toy, please!' Everyone should read it, it makes you a teenager again. Takes you back to college days or in the moments of first-love, with mushy mushy feeling... ...more
