This has been one of those rare books which made me cry. I do not remember last time when i cried on a movie or book, but in this case, i cried in both of them (book as well as movie).
The book was an excellent piece of family trauma through which a household is going for nearly thirteen years when suddenly Anna raises her voice and calls for a law-suit, only to reveal upon us in the end that she did this one too for the love of her sister.

I would like to give this a 2.5, but I didn't like it enough to give it 3 stars, so I settled with 2. I absolutely hated the mother in this book, until the very end. The last few pages, I moved from hatred to serious dislike. The book, in general, was alright, but very predictable. I saw every twist coming before I was a quarter of the way into it. This was one of the books I read in a long time that stirred so many emotions in me.A story that is so touching that I hated it and loved it at the same time!I just could not put the book down.
Picoult's explains the story from the various characters viewpoint and that is something that I found really interesting!There is no black and white but only shades of grey.It makes you want to take sides but
