What Members Thought
It started off a bit slow at first but the pace picked up quickly. A very good book; I enjoyed it a lot. Very highly recomended!
the book got off to a very slow start for me and it wasnt until the second half that I got into it. But it had nice twists at times and interesting characters.
I thought it was a superb thriller on one hand but on the other hand, it was very disturbing. I can't say more because I don't want to be a spoiler but sometimes I wish people could just write ...and then he did really bad things...and let it go at that. The story, and the Swedish way of life was an interesting contrast to life in the U.S

I saw everyone everywhere reading this book. I was in the coffee shop and I scared the hell out of some guy because he was so into it. So I said, what the hell, I gotta see what this is all about....and it was good. Not great. Good. I like mysteries, it was a modern day mystery. It has a few good quotes in it, the characters are likable. All and all, not a complete waste of my time...but it's no Raymond Chandler either.

I picked up this book because I had had heard a lot about it..being a best selling novel etc.The story is about the dissapearance of a girl and how the mystery unfolds.I thought there was too much build up to the main story and found the book depressing also since the plot is such..Howevever the last 100 pages of the book gave a new twist to
the story which kept my interest going..The most interesting character was Salander of course..Lets see when I get to read the other 2 parts of the book..
