I loved this book, I don't know what everyone is talking about they thought it was the same at Mortal Instruments. There were some similarities, but it clearly had it's own story line. I thought that Tessa's talent was kind of different and cool, it was something I've never thought of before. There still is that mystery of her heritage like Clary, but I feel like it's so much more intriguing because she isn't a Shadowhunter. I love that Tessa is a little nerdy and quotes books at every turn. I c ...more

Even better than everyone said it was. Though the cliffhanger hurt me dearly, I have to say this book was a slice of perfect. Though it took me a while to like Tessa, the other amazing, real characters made up for it,
