Already in love with this series. Clare is a fantastic storyteller.
Wow, I now have another favorite series to read and devour. I just loved this book and just couldn't put it down. I have been meaning to read this book for a long time and since its the prequel to the Mortal Instruments Series and the City of Bones movie just came out, I decided to get started on the two series. I put this book on hold at the library and waited a long time to get it and then just my luck I was able to grab the second book too! I was really excited to read it. I loved everything

Re read this in February and forgot to mark it as finished. I loved experiencing this story again. I think I’m going to keep re reading the whole trilogy when I finish chain of gold :)

I loved the book!! It was fast-paced, and always kept me on the edge (in the good way!) and constantly gave me bitter sweet surprises! this isn't a exaggeration but this was the best book i read. Love you Cassandra Clare
