Such an amazing read. I felt pulled this way and that and nothing really struck me as completely preposterous. It was such a pleasant surprise, I honestly went into reading these books worried that I wouldn't think much of them because they didn't have the hype and word of mouth that things like "Divergent", "The Vampire Diaries" or "Mortal Instruments" but this was so much better than I could have imagined. I would love to see this series done as a movie, and see Prince Maxon, American an

Shorter review; Me reading this book

Longer review; my thoughts about the book

Damn. I liked this book better than the first one. Even though, I still hate the 'the entire concept of The Bachelor' the series definitely got better. Better plots, more action and a love triangle that actually make sense (even though I completely hate it). And oh, it finally starting to feels like a dystopian novel!!!

To tell you to the truth, I dont know why I gave this book this much stars. I definitely read better s

I've been dying to read The Elite after finishing The Selection the only reason I've avoided it the last few months is because the wait for The One is so long. The Elite starts off right after the end of The Selection with the six remaining girls still all attempting to win over the prince Maxom. America is torn between being with the man she’s falling in love with and the man she’s loved for so long.

While the girls remain focused on winning the prince’s heart around them attacks from both the

Finally done! At the beginning, I was excited to read this book and continue on with the series. So, when I saw it at the library, I was really excited. So now I have finished it. I have some mixed feelings. I liked it, but there was one thing I didn't like. I thought the plot was really interesting. But I swear that like half the book was about America trying to decide between Aspen and Maxon. I get that she had to make a important decision, but seriously, she was changing her mind so much and ...more

I don't even know what to say anymore. Kiera made such a unique world in the first book, and I was so excited to read this book, but this is unacceptable. America came out so indecisive in this book and acted always on emotion. I felt like killing her when she showed the whole world Gregory's diary and before that, when she told her dad about it. I mean yes, her dad probably wouldn't blab but it's still breaking her promise with Maxon. She ruined everything! And I can't believe that Maxon has no ...more

I didn't like this book as much as the first one just because America was so undecided about Aspen and Maxon and I also disliked the fact that her and Maxon didn't have as many sweet romantic moments as they did in the previous novel, but none the less I loved the ending and I can't wait for the next book!!!! ...more

It wasn't what I was expecting at all. I couldn't get the grasp of Maxon and Aspen's possessiveness over America. At first, I was alright with it, until I got to the middle where America can't really decide on what to do with both guys. It's like she has Maxon the one day, and Aspen the next. It was so irritating. But, at least at the end, it turned out okay already.

And what I wasn't expecting is what happened to the king and Maxon. The king reminds me so much of President Snow of The Hunger Ga
