Slightly frustating in a lot of ways for me.

I LOVE Maxon, I am TOTALLY Team Maxon...but I couldn't stand him for most of this book. He had some redeeming qualities towards the end, but there will have to be massive changes in The One or I will probably hate it more.

I never liked Aspen, he can't change my mind anymore...I'm too invested in Maxon, no competition for me.

I did LOVE America in this book, LOVED her. I loved her character.

The king and queen twists completely took me by surprise though

I hate to admit that I’m really quite addicted to this series. And, wow, this book was a real roller coaster ride! America made me SO mad for most of it that I wanted to throw something heavy at her! And I was beyond angry that her behavior started dragging (view spoiler) ...more

Wow. I never thought I'd be so attached in this series! I am always hungry for more. I just can't stop reading. The turn of events are totally unexpected and shocking. The king and Maxon finally revealed their true colors. Oh, man. I really thought Maxon was a gentleman! He was such a jerk. How could he do this to Mer? And Mer ought to decide already between Maxon and Aspen. Ahhhh! I have so many thoughts right now! I just want to read the next book already and be done with it. The suspense is k ...more

This was one of those books in a series that you feel was just a book that connects one to another
