I adored the first three Selection books in The Selection series. I loved America and Maxon. When I had read The Selection series I was looking for something fun and romantic to read and that's exactly what I got in those first three books. Even the e-novels were fantastic! So when I picked up The Heir on the day it came out I was excited to yet again read something fun and romantic.
And that's exactly what I got in The Heir.

America entered The Selection because her mother wanted her to. From her first night until the end it was a whirlwind affair as America fell in love with Prince Maxon. The whole town cheered with joy as a lonely Five married a One, in the wedding of the century. Yet not without a cost. After the rebels stormed the castle, killing the King and Queen, some of the remaining members of the Selection killed, and Maxon almost ending up with the wrong girl. Picked this book up on a whim! I finished the original trilogy about two years ago and decided why not and finish it!
I read this book in two days and was glad to see it wasn't slow or hard to follow since it has been a long time since I read the last book. Kiera Cass's writing is fun to read.
Eadlyn is bit much in a sense that she constantly is telling herself that she is the most powerful and is trying to be strong almost too much to the point where it feels unnatural. Obviously she is very dif ...more

At first, I wasn't really sure I wanted to read this book. I was happy with how the selection series ended and I heard pretty bad things about this book, but I was pleasantly surprised!
The thing I liked most about the selection series was how easy they were to read. I read all 3 in one weekend because they were so addicting. I'm really happy this one was as easy to read!

AHHHHHHH.
I couldn't wait for this book. When I learned that it was out, I was jumping up and down like a little girl on Christmas.
And I was not disappointed, at all. In fact, I felt the complete opposite.
