I'm doing a mashup review of this book and The Eternity Cure (the next book in the series) so this is the same review that will go on the review for The Eternity Cure.

I'm doing a mashup review for these two books mainly because I read them one after another so I really have no idea where one ends and the other begins. Oops? I didn't even take new notes on The Eternity Cure! *shakes head*

So let's get on with it shall we?

Another magnificent debut by Julie Kagawa, The Immortal Rules is about a girl, Allison, who lives in a world where vampire rules and humans are food and pets. Allison who was initially human gets turned into her worst hated nightmare, a bloodsucker. Then other stuff happens and I love it! My friend thought it was confusing but I got everything to the point. The 485 page book was fast paced, descriptive, juicy, romantic, and overall awesome.
