“She was the heir of ash and fire, and she would bow to no one.”

I'm not going to lie; I actually had really high expectations for Heir of Fire and Heir of Fire met them, but in a different way. It was my least favourite book in comparison to the first two book of the series, but Heir of Fire is so different, it is practically impossible to compare to the other novels. There are so many elements in the novel that the first two books don't focus on, primarily the sacrifice and weaknesses.

I can't find words how to explain what I went through this book. I love and hate it at the same time!

I love it to infinity, because the series just keeps getting better and better, and the plot's amazing. I really love the way the new settings were described, as if I could imagine myself in there. I am so glad that my irritation and hesitancy with Chaol in the last book was intentionally done. By the end of Crown of Midnight, I was like hmm… the romancey aspects are not doing it for me, not sure the author is selling me on that, but the plot is really good. Well, the plot gets even better in this book, and finally, there is a male interest that I feel can actually build something with Celaena. Although I get the sense that they’re going to be mates or something similar (if fae can even ha ...more

Reading enjoying my Throne of Glass series reread, just as good as I remember!

Hands down one of my favorite books of the year so far! It was AWESOME.

Of course I'm biased. I LOVE Sarah J. Maas, as an author and a person (I've met her twice!!) She never disappoints when it comes to great storytelling and I've said it before and I'll say it again, Celaena Sardothian is one of my favorite heroines....EVER.

There was so much good stuff in this book.

Dear God... Welcome to the last ten chapters, where everything just goes straight to hell. I can't wrap my mind around these events... And I'm really happy that I have the third book here waiting for me. Ugh. ...more
