Soooo good! Morgan Matson is one of the BEST authors for contemporary reads and Since You've Been Gone definitely did not disappoint! This is one of the best books for summer and if you enjoyed Amy and Roger's Epic Detour, then you will love this one!

I read this one as part of a Goodreads buddy read, and I want to thank everyone who read it with me!
This was a love story about two friends Sloane and Emily. Like all good love stories, the two main characters have to deal with distance, misunderstandings, and other obstacles that threaten to keep them apart, and the reader is forced to simply go along for the ride.

This was such a cute story.
At first, not going to lie, I thought Emily was the MOST annoying character on the planet. It felt really weak and as someone who values friendship very highly, I didn't think I was going to make it through this book. My best friends don't live near me, they live within 1-2 hours from me, but it's not like we live in the same town (anymore)....however, our friendship is as strong (if not stronger) then when we lived close to each other, so, I guess, that's why the begi ...more
