Insta-love, insta-love, insta-love. The Iron King es, en una palabra, aburrido. He leído libros malos y libros horribles, pero hay una clase de lecturas que destacan por ser meh: sin gracia, tediosas, largas y completamente aburridas, con personajes más que cliché. The world building is your traditional modern unseelie and seelie court fairies but they're also powered by human emotions and beliefs. The characters are named after a Midsummer Night's Dream, Oberon, Titania, and Puck. (The unseelie queen is named Mab, like she so often is) But there are unique aspects to the magics, such as the portals and how they create magic from the glamor of human emotions.
