It's not a secret that I hate dystopian books, but this book is the reason why I keep reading them. Most dystopians follow a specific formula, but the execution of this formula in Legend is enough to make me love it anyway. At first I thought, "Here we go. Another attempt to find a good one." And for a while I maintained that impression, but slowly and surely, I found it pretty easy to change my mind. Actually, there was a distinct moment that I recall thinking that this surpassed what I usually

I know that a lot readers have a problem with alternating POVs. I don't mind them as long as they are done right. Sometimes the alternating POVs sound the same (it's just terrible when the male protagonist sounds like a girl). The POVs in Legend were distinct enough so I was fine with them and they kind made the reading experience richer for me.

I just dont want to let go of this book! I perfectly pictured out the scenes and was caught up in the excitement this story has to offer. With two dead-smart leads, you just cant wait to read what's next. The perspectives of Day and June was alternately presented. And I really like it. I want to just reas the next book, NOW.

I loved how June picked up all the little details and was the ultimate detective, it was so interesting!

Wow, heck of a good book!! I might give it 4.5 just because I guessed one thing early on and I wish the kids in the story were older, but it's a riveting book that I really couldn't put down! Thrilling, tense, exciting, romantic, and thought-provoking, but very gut-wrenching at times.
