The Amoveo shifters series book 4 by Sara Humphreys. Is totally awesome I adored Marianna and Pete's story. Marianna thinks being neutral in the war is going to be easy, or at least less trouble. Man she was wrong, then she finds her mate who is "human". I loved the new twist Sara added to the story line. I have to say I think Marianna and Pete are one hot item. I loved Marianne and Pete's story.
The civil war between the Purist and Loyalist Amoveo has gotten off to a horrible start. The introduction of Vampires, demons and so many of the dark characters that goes bump in the night. Pete's acceptance of the supernatural world, the explanations of his father's background and loving his mate were just delicious to read as it all unfolds. Well, number 4 of the Amoveo legend is out and I've read it. The opening chapter was wonderfully written. It introduces us to Marianna Coltari - Dante's sister. She's a wonderful package of passionate emotions; for her family, for her friends, and for the future of the Amoveo. Thus, it's no surprise that Pete, as her body guard, finds a way to protect her that's unexpected and very unsettling for Marianna. That's when the story really gets good. I have reently found the Amoveo Series. I have also been lucky enough to become one of Sara's Angels. Sara has done a good job developing her characters back story. It's nice to know the Immortals have as many political headaches as us, the mere mortals. I like the way she enables the humans to crack the shells and turn the Shifters, Vampires and Hybrids into mush. I can't wait for her next book. ...more

This is definitely the best yet of the series (and seeing as the others were all amazing that is saying something!) Adding vampires and demons was a risk, but it works so well for this story, and just strengthens the series. The insecurities both Marianna and Pete have about their relationship are fresh, and it’s great to read a series where it isn’t love at first sight then they live happily ever after. I absolutely loved this story. The passion, the chemistry. I loved Pete and Mariana's personalities and how they fit together so well. I loved the little surprises throughout the book. The writing was fantastic and the love scenes were perfect, not too raunchy but not vanilla. There was never a doubt in my mind that this book would be anything but amazing. 4.5 stars. Loved it sooo much! Pete is my new book boyfriend! This series is a nice break from all the vampire and wolf reads. The addition of new species puts a much welcomed twist to the series. I loved everything about this story... from Petes' "guardian angel" Tramp (which reminded me of my own husky aptly named Lady), his father, to how much I found myself laughing. I love this series. The hits keep getting better. Pete and Marianna’s story was a thrill ride from start to finish. I couldn’t put it down. After William and Layla’s story this is my next favorite (sorry Pete). Looking forward to more Amoveo Legend books.

Wow!! What a great addition to the series. Not only were Pete and Marianna perfect together, the storyline added so much depth to the series itself. Cannot wait to see what happens next!
