I usually wait until closer to the release date before posting my reviews but since the amazing Sara Humphreys sent me the book for review, I am going to honor her request and post it now. It will be posted at a later date on my blog Tea and Book as well as on Amazon..

Sara Humphreys really picks it up with her fourth book in her Amoveo Legends Series. We see the world of The Amoveo both narrowing and widening if that is at all possible. The purists are determined to rule the entire Amoveo or kill those who interfere and yet those dedicated to realistic survival.. finding their mates and living as destined have discovered that they might not be quite as alone as they thought... Just makes you wanna go Hmmmmmmmmmm, doesn't it?

Where we left off.. The Amoveo have split.. instead of one council now there are two. Those that believe that in order to survive they must evolve and those who declare that only pure Amoveo need survive. The tricky thing about that.. if by nature an Amoveo has one mate in all of everything then why would they assume that, that mate must be Amoveo? If fate says hey your mate is a hybrid, or hey your mate is human why would you even want to argue. See, some things I just don't understand.. This particular thinking has brought dictators to their knees throughout history. Sadly, too many innocents are lost before it happens. This time, the purists have a list of undeclared Pure Bred Amoveo.. They are capturing them and doing something with them but no one is sure just exactly what. And we are horrified to learn that Dante's sister Marianne is on the list. In true male fashion they send in someone to guard her. Of course they don't bother to share all of the facts with her and leave her to struggle with her questions, needs and tendency to act capriciously all on her own.

Pete Castor is a retired cop who is fully aware that there is more out there than the average man accepts. Finding out his boss had the ability to shift was a bit disconcerting to say the least. But he is a loyal man and when asked if he would consider taking on the job of guarding said boss' sister he of course said yes. What he didn't account for was this total and complete attraction that keeps pulling at him. He is totally lost in how to deal with it. She is not only his boss' sister but she is Amoveo on top of it.. So he attempts to act cool and collected. To do his job and NOT jump her bones.

Marianna Coltari is a purebred shifter, party girl extraordinaire, determined for reasons of her own not to declare her loyalty. But this party girl has bitten off way more than she could chew. The local idiot factor AKA Hayden has decided that they should mate.. even though they aren't mated. I mean they are both of the Bear Clan, even if he is a grizzly and she is a Kodiak.. they need to form an alliance. Fortunately Marianna has some semblance of self control and knows this is not a good thing. Using all of her superior intelligence to escape this particular plan she leans on the bodyguard that her brother sent. Only, suddenly she starts to realize that they are mates.. Holy Moly, Marianna Coltari, purebred, is mated to a human..

These two find ways to escape the plans of the purists and hide.. discovering their connection and the secrets each have been hiding from the other does cause just a wee bit of trouble for the two but gradually they begin to work it out. If only the real world wouldn't intrude.. These two are not allowed to stay hidden they have a path that must be followed. Battles that must be fought and innocents that must be saved..

The twists and turns of Ms Humphrey's plot are an intricate dance of what he know, what we learn and what we can find believable. Then she tilts the game board and all bets are off. Exceptional timing, characters and storyline keeps this ploy from overwhelming the overall arc. She takes a chance and it works, completely and totally.

We get to see some of our favorites from stories past.. I will say one thing.. Steven needs to find his HEA soon. This man has suffered and suffered greatly for his devotion and loyalty. But even this brings insight to this fabulous story. As I have said numerous times, pick up this series.. read these books and get ready to become UNDONE..*grins*

If you haven't read the first 3.5 books in this series then stop reading right now. While the first 3.5 books may work well as a standalone book, book 4 changes the game! This is the tale of Marianna (Purebred Amoveo) and Pete (Purebred human... or so he thinks). When we first meet Marianna of the Kodiak Bear Clan, in Untamed, she is shocked to learn her father's true role in the Purist Movement (Purist; noun; group of purebred jerkfaces who feel that Amoveo's should not mate with anyone other than Amoveo's; i.e. Hybrids, Humans, Other Supernatural Beings, etc.) and now that the Purists have been revealed, runs away to New York to make up her mind about which side her loyalty lies. She hangs out in a club in Manhattan run by vampire Olivia and her coven (but that's a horse of a different color) Now her twin brother Dante is mated with Kerry, a hybrid from the Panther clan, and while she loves her brother, she isn't sure how she should feel. So Dante hires his friend Pete to protect his sister from both her own reckless behavior and the Purists. Sparks immediately fly between Marianna and Pete which confuses both of them. Up till now, she hasn't found her mate yet, either in real life or in the dream plane (Amoveo's first connect with their mate in the dream plane which strengthens the psychic bond that they share). Now Pete pretty much just thinks he's got the hots for her and she could never love a guy like him, after all, he is just a human and not her mate. Well, they are both in for a rude awakening when they find out that things aren't always as they seem. Ya see Pete, well, Pete is... special and not fully human, and he isn't a shifter either... can't tell ya what he is cause that would give too much away but let me tell you that when you find out, you better hold on to your britches cause they are going to get blown off!!!! This story has everything... romance, intrigue, drama, sex (OMG the sex... we are talking on a snowmobile in the middle of winter!!!), mystery, suspense, action, secret babies... I laughed, I cried, I feel like I ran a damn marathon! Sara Humphries has truly created her own world. Her next book to be released is Tall, Dark and Vampire, which is a spin off to vampire Olivia's story and I can't wait to get my hands on that in August. I give this a very enthusiastic 5 stars and will be telling anyone and everyone who listens to me to give it a read, they will NOT be disappointed!

4.5 awesomeness :)

This is my second time reading anything from Sarah Humphreys and WILL NOT be my last! Undone is a very exciting, original and sensual paranormal romance that allows the reader a great escape into its pages. A definite must read for all fans of the genre!

Marianna is very close to a time. Close to the age that if she does not find her mate she’ll lose all that makes her an amoveo and just be. It’s the last thing she wants, fears it actually. But there’s nothing that can be done unless her mate was to miraculously walk into her life. Only that will save her.

Pete is just an ordinary, everyday, average (very HOT) human that just so happens to work for and with paranormals every day. He is an extraordinary man with secrets that he has no choice but to keep and comes to find out. He’s not the only one keeping them. He also finds out how it feels to fall. In love that is. Hard and fast!

Together these two are like the perfect blend of sugar and spice. A mix that makes them complete, perfect and meant to be. A match all readers will wish the very best and crave more of. This is the fourth book in the Amoveo series, but is definitely able to be read as a stand-alone. I look forward to what Sarah brings us in the next of the series :)

The Amoveo race becomes ripped apart as several from the species find true mates that are half Amoveo, half human. Taking a stand as Purists, many of the race believe this is degrading and wrong to dilute the blood of their kind and are now devoted to put a stop from any half breed mating. Unable to persuade Marianna Coltari to join in their cause, the Purists are now willing to force her into their clutches and use her for their needs. Fearing for her safety, Marianna’s twin hires Pete Castro, a former cop, to watch over her and keep her from harm. Thought only to be human, a new discovery unfolds to change his destiny and the future of Marianna as his heart and soul is willing to do anything to protect the one he loves.

Since reading the first story of THE AMOVEO LEGEND series, I have willingly been obsessed with this fantastic world created by the very talented Sara Humphreys. Each time I (reluctantly) finish the last page of one of these books, I proclaim that “this one” is my favorite in the series because with each one it just gets better and better. To top it off, this world is now opening new doors to expand its dimensions with new characters and different origins that enhance the Amoveo world with excitement and (no doubt) many awesome adventures yet to come. While I highly recommend that you get your hands on a copy of UNDONE today, if you haven’t read the previous installments, I also strongly suggest that you start at the beginning of this series and work your way through. Why? I don’t want you to miss out on a wonderful series that you will enjoy and relish from beginning to present. Once you start, it won’t take you long to catch-up because you won’t be able to put them down.

So this one was all kinds of AWESOME!!! Back in the game with this one.
Yeah I'm definitely loving me some Pete.
I really enjoyed many of the reveals concerning him and where he comes from. I hope to see more & get more answers where he and his "Father" are concerned. I felt that he and Marianna were a perfect match for one another.

The other reveals concerning the Purists & Loyalists, are getting more and more intense by the second. I loved how certain things are being woven and revealed

Basically this series has me like...

I loved Marianne and Pete's story.
The civil war between the Purist and Loyalist Amoveo has gotten off to a horrible start. The introduction of Vampires, demons and so many of the dark characters that goes bump in the night. Pete's acceptance of the supernatural world, the explanations of his father's background and loving his mate were just delicious to read as it all unfolds. Pete was always gave of something more than a human, and coming to terms with himself, and the way he live was a lovely surprise. Marianne feelings towards the civil war, her point of view on the future of the Amoveo race, and her true thoughts were all nice revelations regarding this bear shifter. This is by far the best story ever in this series.
I am so looking forward to book five; Unclaimed

4.5 stars. Loved it sooo much! Pete is my new book boyfriend! This series is a nice break from all the vampire and wolf reads. The addition of new species puts a much welcomed twist to the series. I loved everything about this story... from Petes' "guardian angel" Tramp (which reminded me of my own husky aptly named Lady), his father, to how much I found myself laughing. This series is a must read!

This paranormal romance had an interesting plot and exciting finish but a couple things really bothered me. The hero overstepped in his action toward the heroine near the beginning then the heroine made a typical stupid move midway. Pete is bear-shifter Marianna's bodyguard when she is being pressured by a purist group.

Great book! My favorite of the Amoveo yet. I didn't think another couple would top Dante and Kerry (they were my favorite), but I was wrong. The chemistry between Pete and Marianna was awesome!! How long until the next one?!

Undone ~ Sara Humphreys

The great quotes from traditional proverbs speaks about the eyes being the window into the soul and confesses the secrets hidden deep in ones heart. In her latest novel Undone, Sara Humphreys taps into the strength and discernment of those profound phrases. Sara Humphreys polished writing style brings another fantastic, spellbinding read of love, intimacies, courage, trust, compassion and hope to the reader.

I found this installment of the Amoveo series intoxicating. The pacing, character development, dialogue, mood and settings bounce rhythmically on the sensory neurons of a reader who relishes the allure of a well-balanced paranormal romance. Ms. Humphreys' Undone possesses the sizzle and breath-taking suspenseful action, mind blowing loving that touches all of emotional investments I appreciate. Ms. Humphreys books seamlessly reflect consistencies from one book to the next demonstrating an author with a tremendous savvy. She keeps her audience on the edges of their seats with unpredictable events enhancing the suspense.

Undone spirals the characters through various challenges bringing about a deeper trust and devotion; the spine of strong, unshakable relationships. Undone has fragments of reality in our human society with its older ideas of bigotry. Undone subtly shines light on the impact and direction when progressive members of a society rise up against social injustice with boundless courage.

The characters in Undone are attractive, magnetic, sexy, smart, astute characters who are easy to relate to and champion. The secondary characters come from different backgrounds and shape-shifters of various clans: Bears, Hawks, Fox, Leopards, Coyotes and a critical foundation for the main characters and the dynamics of the story and the Amoveo series.

Marianna Coltari and Pete Castro are familiar to each other because of their relationship with Dante Coltari. Marianna is Dante's sister and Pete, his partner in the personal security protective agency.
Pete has been assigned to protect Marianna in New York City from the Purist of the Amoveo elders.
Hayden and Artimus, members of the Purist order of the Amoveo culture forbids and resents the intermarriages or inter-mating. The Purists believe that pure bloodlines must be maintained in order to strengthen their culture and Marianna is a critical part of the Bear clan.

There is a special need hidden behind the velvet curtain that Marianna and Pete share however conscious differences may hinder the discovery of the mystery. They are conflicted but the soul, subconscious mind and the heart has a better understanding of this magnetic energy between them. Fear of the unknown often blocks the quest to demystify the puzzle. Can the true discovery of who Pete and Marianna are to each other be their undoing? Would crossing the lines of society divide and conquer two people, would it be viewed as a form of betrayal culturally and personally?

Pete and Dante have been through a great deal of obstacles cultivating their security, protection agency but this assignment Pete has been given really challenges beliefs and loyalties.

The diversities among Marianna friends, family and social affiliations are vast: Kerry, Dante's wife, Marianna' best friend Olivia, and Pete; Amoveo pure bloodlines, hybrids, vampires and human. Olivia proprietor of the club The Coven is the perfect environment with the high sexy musical beats freeing up customers to enjoy engaging in their bump and grind not to mention the perfect place to get away from obnoxious Hayden. The strobe lights of the club manufactures a sexier atmosphere as bodies create shadows throughout the club as Marianna absorbs the mating energy and hopes of finding her mate and getting on with her life. Hayden, a pureblood Amoveo Bear hates vampires and he wants to mate with Marianna.

Pete's energy feels so damn irresistible to Marianna and it's impossible to dismiss. Should she investigate further for herself regarding the magnetic, sexual current that seems to flow between her and Pete? Pete, a human feels an intense gravitational pull on his loins but must maintain a professionalism. The unexpected luminous energy radiating through the eyes of Marianna and Pete are complicated to decipher, it is multidimensional.

The heart and soul's capabilities of seeing the invisible, feeling the sensual, soulful rhythms, an energy signature that can not be ignored. This lesson is understood when love takes the lovers across various societal issues. Lovers bond together on the deepest levels reach beyond realms and many true lovers experience this energy on an ultimate level. It cascades beyond the animalistic to the spiritual making the connection virtually impossible destroy. Perhaps leading us to the meaning of that important phrase “until death do us part”.

It is my honest opinion that Undone is a captivating read and will fulfill the hunger left behind Untamed. Undone has plenty of action, paranormal influences and romance to satisfy your appetite. Being sated but greedy I am waiting patiently right now for the next Amoveo adventure.
The book Undone in my opinion is worthy of a standing ovation and five stars.

Unfortunately for me, I’ve so far read only the first book in this series. Because I’m a huge shapeshifter fan, Sara Humphreys has created a world perfect for a reader like me. So it’s all my fault that I’ve missed some good books by getting so behind in my reading. But that doesn’t mean it needs to happen to you! If you haven’t started this series yet, now is a good time – and start at the beginning for some terrific shifting stories.

The one thing I really like in the series is Ms. Humphreys hasn’t restricted her Amoveo world to only wolves, cats and the usual beasts you get in shapeshifter books. There’s also birds of prey, foxes, and now bears as we meet Marianna, an unmated, pureblood Amoveo who shifts into a Kodiak bear. Her father and brother Dante, a fox, are among those fighting the purists, those who want to eradicate hybrids – shifters born of Amoveo and human parents. Marianna so far has stayed out of the exhausting fight, but there are those who will pull her into it with no qualms whatsoever.

Thus we meet Pete, an ex-cop and security specialist who works with Marianna’s brother in his security firm. Dante wants Marianna protected and Pete’s the man for the job. He may initially disagree with that, taking care of a partier is not his idea of time well spent. Especially when the woman does the opposite of what he needs her to do or just does crazy things when he ticks her off. And I have to say, I agree with Pete on that. It took a bit for Marianna to grow on me – she’s a thirty-year-old woman who acts like she’s twelve, all because she doesn’t like to be told what to do. Even when she realizes Pete is her mate, she keeps her nose out of joint when it should be a happy, beautiful time for her, after thinking she probably would never find her mate at this late date.

But Marianna gets her age and her mind back when Pete gets serious about her safety. Magically restricting the use of her abilities, Pete takes Marianna to an isolated cabin to keep her away from the purists who have begun an outrageous project of forcing procreation between Amoveo who aren’t mates. Of course, being alone is the best thing for these two to get to know one another, and these are some of the best scenes in the book. This is also where Pete finds out who his father is, which comes as a huge surprise, never thinking in a million years his background/life would come any closer to the otherworldly than Marianna and the Amoveo.

Though they get their relationship on track, that’s when all goes to hell. The purists find Marianna, taking her to their lair where their plans will definitely go forward if Pete and Dante, along with other Amoveo, can’t track her in time. Timing and efficient planning is all they can do, hoping it’s enough to save Marianna and other women who have disappeared. There’s plenty of action in this last quarter of the book, but tragic results may end things for Pete and Marianna before they can truly get started.

Once again, Sara Humphreys has given readers a story for the imagination, sprinkled with danger and romance, and characters who would die for each other. So they know how to grab on to life and live it to the fullest. Be sure to read this series. It will take you away for a few fun and fanciful hours, just like it’s supposed to.

Finally, an author has written a story about a shifter female finding a human mate. You find in so many paranormal stories a human female and a shifter male lead that I found it refreshing to see the opposite in this story. On top of that, the author found a way to have a strong shifter female without emasculating Pete, the hero in Undone. While it may be questionable at times on who can win physically, it is clear to me that Pete is every bit an alpha male even if he cannot turn into a ferocious bear.

Marianna is a character that I quickly fell in love with. She has a spice for life that you just don’t see in many stories. While she can certainly be a reckless party girl, she also bears a lot of weight on her shoulders from various places such as her Amoveo blood, family, friends, and enemies – whether they be forthcoming are hidden in the shadows. While at first I saw some of her behavior as reckless, as I learned more about her I discovered that she needs a way to let her hair down to keep from crumbling under all the pressure placed onto her. She also discovers that she can depend on Pete to help lift some of that burden as well.

Pete is an awesome man; he is the ultimate good guy. He clearly wants to make life better for those around him. It’s one of the attributes that made him a good cop previously and a good bodyguard/babysitter for Marianna. He has a way of seeing situations differently than the average human which makes him a true asset to the Amoveos and humans. One characteristic that I absolutely adore is his ability to push back. He never sees himself as weak especially when surrounded by preternatural beings, but instead analyses a situation and figures out how to make it work for him. This quality was truly enduring and makes me have a special appreciation for him.

I am a long time fan of this series and have truly enjoyed seeing the progression of not only the storyline but also the author’s ability. While all of the previous stories have been entertaining, I can see the progress that the author has made in finding a way to connect with her audience by painting a picture so clearly, it makes me forget the world around me. Many times I found myself so enthralled, that I had to shake my head just to jostle myself out of the Amoveo world and tend to the real world.

If you are not a follower of this series you can still enjoy Undone, though you may find certain areas unclear. I appreciate that the author does not go in too many summaries or explanations about characters and conflicts from previous stories. I have always found summaries tedious and downright boring. So some of the group or Amoveo conflicts, such as the counsel breaking up, may baffle a new reader, but Marianna and Pete’s romantic plot will keep anyone more than interested. Plus, if you have not read the series this will be a great time to pick up the previous books as well as this one and I assure you will not be disappointed.

Pete Castro has been assigned by his boss and his friend, Dante Coltari, to act as chauffer and more importantly as bodyguard, to his twin sister, Marianna. As an Amoveo shifter of the bear clan, Marianna should be more then able to protect herself, but many unmated females have been disappearing lately, and Dante wants to be sure that his sister doesn’t wind up among the missing women.

Pete hasn’t told Marianna that he knows what she is. As far as he is concerned, she can go on thinking him an ignorant human. With her unpredictable bear temperament, if she didn’t fear discovery by him, he is afraid she’ll do a disappearing act on him next time she is in a snit. As far as Pete is aware, Marianna doesn’t think of him at all. If only he could say the same thing. All Pete can think about are those long legs and how he wants to grab a fist full of those gorgeous brown curls and kiss her until they’re both breathless. But Marianna is looking for her mate—her Amoveo mate, not a plain old human like Pete.

Human or not, Pete will take care of that sleezyball Hayden. Hayden might be full-blooded bear clan, but there is no way that pompous ass is her mate, so why is he after Marianna so desperately? Pete isn’t planning on sitting around waiting to find out. Dante hired him to protect Marianna, and that is what he is going to do even if he has to fight her to succeed.

Now, they are hiding out together from the kidnappers. Pete couldn’t stop thinking about her…dreaming about her while he guarded her in the City. Now all alone, Pete’s desire for Marianna is only exceeded by his need for her to see him as more than just a human.

THOUGHTS:
Loved it! I love when a story leaves our hero and heroine stranded together for a chance to really get to know each other, and yet there was still plenty of time for an exciting rescue, a set up for the next book in the series as well as a set up for her next series focusing on vampires.

It was a well written story with great characters which blended the love story and the excitement so we have plenty of both to enjoy.

We got to see William again who loosened up in his and Layla’s story, but he comes off cold and distant again. I loved him in his book Untamed, but he quickly returned to his unsympathetic self. I guess he will remain a character that unless you are in his head, he will always come off as unfeeling and hardhearted.

These stories have gotten better each time and I am sorry that we are nearing the end of the series.

Sara Humphreys has been on my auto buy list since I read the first book in this series (Unleashed), so it's no surprise that when I received an email from Sourcebooks to review Unleashed I nearly peed my pants in excitement. No really, I had the complete fan girl squee going on!

You probably want to know at this point what makes me so excited over a book, so I'm going to tell you gush. The world of the Amoveo is set up so perfectly that you feel like you live there. The characters are so tangible, you feel like you actually know them. You feel their emotions, not because they are told to you, but because they are shown to you - in technicolor, in 3-D, in digital surround sound!

Okay, okay - get to the review already!!

What I liked loved:

The characters! Marianna who is portrayed as the shallow party girl just happens to be a strong willed and kind alpha female that has had her world turned upside down. Pete who comes across as alpha to the core, but shows hidden depths that are more than swoon worthy. Not only does the sexy man know his way around a snow mobile, he has his own issues, the least of which are his insecurities where Marianna is concerned. I have to say, the way he dealt with his insecurities and the changes around him are the reasons why he was became one of my book boyfriends. *ducks flying books* I know the snow mobile scene was hotttt (a must read!), but the depth of his character is what really sealed the deal for me!

The story! While The Amoveo Legend series is definitely paranormal romance and I love the twisted routes the couples take to get their HEAs, the ever expanding story arc is what keeps me coming back book after book. Let me tell you, when Ms Humphreys opens a door in her world, she blows it right off its hinges! In Undone, she expands her world and the story so much that one can't help but anticipate where she will take us next.

What I didn't like:

Normally, I would say waiting for the next installment - but I know that I will be reading Tall, Dark, and Vampire in August when it comes out. (The first book in the spin off series Dead in the City).

If you haven't read this series and you are a fan of paranormal romance, urban fantasy, romance, or just great reading material in general - Pick up this series, set aside some "me time", and GET READING!

FTC Disclosure: I received an ARC of this book from the publisher for the purpose of a fair and honest review.

Pete, from Untouched gives us an up close look at body-guarding when he is tasked to protect Dante’s sister, Marianna, from the Purists and their latest scheme. Despairing that she would ever find her mate, the only one more shocked than Marianna was Pete. Pete’s protective instincts go into overdrive when Artimus and his number one henchman Harley stalk Marianna as they are determined to have her be part of the latest diabolical Purist scheme whether she is willing or not. To protect Marianna, Pete takes her where he thinks they won’t be found which gives the couple plenty of time to come to terms with fate and their future.

The very differences between Marianna and Pete (and Pete’s imagination) kept their relationship fresh and “realistic”. His instinct to face tasks head on while hers was conflict avoidance; Neither of them wanting to be the first to say “it”. Those things were cute and unique to this couple without going overboard. I liked each of them very much separately and loved them as a couple. For this reader there were plenty of highlights – the new secondary characters expanded the world and fit easily in this story so they felt natural as if they had always been there; the out of the latest scheme offers many, many threads that can be chosen for quite a few installments as it too expanded this universe. The nefarious madman in front of the Purists and his slithering henchman were also great – they each had quite a bit to offer this outing and did their part to expand the universe. Once again the mechanics were top notch and the improvement in the writing has increased tremendously from book one though the overall arc is still quite clear. I truly hope the series continues for quite a while – I‘m definitely not tired of the Amoveo legend.

Well, number 4 of the Amoveo legend is out and I've read it. The opening chapter was wonderfully written. It introduces us to Marianna Coltari - Dante's sister. She's a wonderful package of passionate emotions; for her family, for her friends, and for the future of the Amoveo. Thus, it's no surprise that Pete, as her body guard, finds a way to protect her that's unexpected and very unsettling for Marianna. That's when the story really gets good. I've loved the Adirondacks since I was very young. The minute Pete and Marianna ended up in the cabin, I could smell the pine and bark, the crispness of the snow and frost. Superb!

Now, I'm not a fan of snowmobiles but - yikes! As far as spice goes, that's the scene of the story! As all Amoveo mates, these two find themselves very attracted to each other - like, can't keep their hands off... And also, won't be separated. Of course, the Amoveo Purists catch up with the unlikely couple (Pete's not just any human, he's half something that not even he can wrap his mind around). And the terror and horror of the situation with the Purists is revealed.

As the story ends, you find yourself wrapped up in the characters and you realize that there are so many Amoveo families with stories in need of resolution. But there's only 1 book left...

The author has woven the Amoveo history, friendships, and rivalries into a wonderful tale that also introduces back story for two more romance series. I look forward to reading the final tale in the Amoveo series ("Unclaimed") and I have a strong feeling that there will be much more from this author in the future!

Marianna Coltari, a member of the Amoveo bear clan, is trying to remain neutral in the Amoveo civil war, in which the purists are fighting against the loyalists. The purists believe that only pure blood Amoveo should mate with each other. Unfortunately, the leader of the purists has plans for Marianna, and Marianna's brother hires Pete Castro to be her driver and bodyguard. Pete is a human, who knows about the existence of the Amoveo. Marianna is close to a time, when she will lose her Amoveo powers unless she finds a mate. When Marianna realizes that Pete is her mate, she has mixed feelings, because it is not known how a human mate will affect her Amoveo powers. Meanwhile, the purists are plotting a nefarious scheme.

UNDONE is a great addition to the Amoveo Legends series, in fact it is my favorite book in the series, so far. The Amoveo world is unique and exciting, and the characters are multi-faceted. Pete is a wonderful hero, who is very protective, especially of Marianna. The fact that he is a human doesn't slow him down from helping those in trouble. Pete doesn't back down from more powerful beings, when defending others. This makes him a true hero in my eyes. Marianna has been hurt by the war, in that, her father was a purist and a casualty in the war, and now, her mother as his mate is declining. Marianna hopes to keep out of the conflict but is forced to pick a side and take a stand for love. Many of the characters from previous books make an appearance, and it is great connecting with them again.

All in all, UNDONE is a very entertaining book, which I highly recommend. The next book in this series can't come out soon enough for me.

I truly enjoyed this story of Pete and Marianna!

This book had everything going for it right from the beginning. The sizzling chemistry between the two main characters was so tangible, it jumped out of the pages. Pete, a trusted friend and employee of Dante Coltari, has been a favorite and was so glad he had his very own story. Marianna Coltari, is Dante's twin sister who has been labeled a party girl. She has avoided the brewing Civil War among the Amoveo Society and lives in NYC being "human". Her over protective brother had assigned Pete to be her chauffeur and bodyguard. Pete realizes that there's more to her than meets the eyes, and he can't avoid what fate has already chosen for the both of them.

This book was truly a page turner for me. A great mix of action, mystery and HOT romance. It was great to also see old favorites like, Dante, Kerry and the rest of the Amoveo gang. There were a couple of new characters introduced, which peaked my interest. (The reader will discover how Pete is really not your average human after all). Another of the secondary characters which played an important role in this book, was Marianna's friend Olivia - a vampire. I'm really looking forward to her story in the up coming book, "Tall, Dark, and Vampire".

Undone was a very enjoyable read and is now a favorite!

Yes, this book tops all the others when it comes to most nail-biting, gut-wrenching, and heart failing moments ever. Sara even gives you the hottest scenes between two characters who will steal your heart away and have you either running to the shower to cool down or grabbing some cold water to drink. (I still cannot get over that snowmobile scene)
Seriously, if you have not read this series yet, you need to. I highly recommend it to paranormal romance readers out there and fans of shapeshifters. Sara takes you into a world of shifters who will capture your heart, and all you want is for them to have a happily ever after without the Purists trying to ruin it for them.
I look forward to the next installment and now the new series coming out from Sara at the end of this summer.
This book will give you not only the shapeshifters, but also demons, hellhounds, and vampires. I bet that got your attention now. =)

I received a complimentary copy of the book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I am a huge fan of this series. I love that Sara takes my favorite self named genre (shifter crack ;) ) and makes it fresh and different without giving up what it is I love about shifters. Undone is my favorite of this series, without a doubt. Not only does it have the elements I adore; true love, lots of heat, adventure, a bit of mystery, and characters I can connect with, but it has an ending I never saw coming! Seriously, something in the ending is a game changers in an amazing way! I can not wait to see where it leads the series. Do not fret. You get a very satisfying ending where true love thrives, just as with all books in this series. You also get a little bit of extra awesome thrown in. If you love the Amoveo series, you probably have already picked this up because the books are addictive. If you have been interested in the series, this is a great one to start with. You do not need to read the books in order. They are each stand alones and even when characters cross over, you will not feel like you are missing out on anything. If you love shifters, true love, adventure, and awesome characters this book is probably for you.

This is an original review from http://bookedandloaded.com (rating 4.5/5)

Undone is the 4th book in Sara Humphreys Amoveo Legend series. Vampires, Shifters, and purists...oh my! Undone is a great and fulfilling romance with many enjoyable layers. Sexy and unique accurately sum up Undone in two words. I love the way the author has entwined the larger conflict in every story of this series and that she does it in a way that every book can truly stand alone. I reviewed the second book in this series, Untouched, a year ago and was impressed that I skipped a book and still felt a complete understanding of what was going on. That is talent! Although, now I have the missing books in my TBR pile under "must read now". With clear defined world rules and flawless chemistry Undone is a must read for any paranormal fan! Pete and Marianna captured my heart with their individual history and chemistry. I truly cannot wait to see what happens in the Amoveo world next!!

I obtained Undone directly from the publisher, Sourcebooks, in exchange for an honest review and received NO compensation.
