I've had some people tell me that they thought Harry Potter didn't hold up when it comes to a re-read when you're older. I A haven't re-read these books since I was 18 and I am now 25... I am here to say DAMN THESE STILL HOLD UP TO BEING AMAZING!!!

I started reading Harry Potter in 1999, just before Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was released. This was actually my second Potter book (I read Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets first) and it was the most wonderful, magical thing I'd ever read.
Now, 19 years later (apt), I'm still re-reading this book on a regular basis, nothing makes me feel better than sitting down for an adventure with Harry, Ron and Hermione and I know I'll be continuing to read it for years to come. ...more
