What Members Thought
Tex and his brother, Mason, are on their own while their dad is off on the rodeo circuit. Tex is mostly just fooling around through life, but then a series of events causes him to reevaluate his life and the value of family. Very enjoyable story that combines adventure, young love and is very realistic.

Still love it! Every time I read it. Mason is one of my favorite characters of all time. This will forever be my favorite SE Hinton book.
