I am a big fan of S.E. Hinton, and so far this is on my top three favorite books.I love the way S.E. Hinton wrote little flashbacks instead of an entire life story. By adding short flashbacks she helped maintain the same mood and tone throughout the story. Not only that, but like her other books she maded it seem very realistic. Her characters seemed very tangible. In some parts, she wrote a few jokes which were very entertaining. It took me an hour or two to read this book, and I didn't but it
